Marcos Morau's career continues
unstoppable. After the "resounding success of La Veronal in its
tribute to the theatre" evoked in the choreography of Opening
Night at Les Arts, Morau is embarking on a new project:
Afanador, choreography commissioned by the National Ballet of
Spain, which can be seen at the Teatro de la Maestranza, Teatro
Real and Palau de les Arts. Afanador combines photography,
flamenco and dance in a single show. It is a portrait of Ruvén
Afanador, a highly-prized Colombian fashion photographer who is
also well-known for his portraits of celebrities from the world of
cinema and music, and who has maintained a close relationship with
flamenco for years.
