DOÑA MANTECA
Doña Manteca is a music group based in Valencia with a love of
Latin rhythms. Its members are Elena Almendros, Paula Almendros and
Empar Mora, all with extensive experience in the music scene and in
other well-known groups, such as Dómisol Sisters or Peter Gun & The
Paper Huts. Their show is a tribute to artists whose songs have
crossed the time barrier and are known by a number of different
generations: artists such as Los Panchos, Antonio Machín, Chavela
Vargas, Juanes and Natalia Lafourcade all have a place in their
repertoire. Good music, vocal harmonies, guitars and multiple
percussion and string instruments will sweeten the flavour of any
evening.
