EXTRAS FOR ROBERTO DEVEREUX – CHILDREN
We need extras for the production of Roberto Devereux which Palau de les Arts will prepare during May and June 2025.
The legal tutors of the underaged candidates must fill in the form on our web page (www.lesarts.com) and upload the videos with the required actions.
Also, a zip file with the CV, a full body picture and the required videos will be sent by WeTransfer.
Extras are meant to recreate the atmosphere or the scene, thus contributing to make it more real. They are not meant to speak.
4 children (girls): We need four girls between 6 and 10 years old. On the scene, only two girls are needed, so they will perform alternately; but the four of them must be at the theatre in all performances.
Actions:
- Play freely and imaginatively with a teddy bear or similar. She can also play with a construction set game. (1 minute is enough).
The rehearsal dates are 12, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 30 May, 1 June 2025.
The performance dates are: 4, 7, 11, 14 and 18 June 2025.
On 23 April 2025, the list of the registered candidates will be published on our web site.
On 24 April 2025, the list of the selected candidates will be published on our web site, and those who do not gather the requirements will be excluded.
The preselection won’t be done in person. Only the material sent by the candidates will be evaluated.
The deadline to send the application is on 22 April 2025.
EXTRAS FOR ROBERTO DEVEREUX – ADULTS
We need extras for the production of Roberto Devereux, which Palau de les Arts will prepare during May and June 2025.
Extras are meant to recreate with shadows the atmosphere or the scene to contribute to make it more real. They are not meant to speak. Even though, extras may be asked to help to create noise, to shout or mutter.
We need / Roles:
- Roles: 2 men and 2 women, 25 to 35 years old, sports complexion and athletic build.
- Actions: briefly introduce yourself to the camera showing your personality, then go to the back imitating waltz movements.
Candidates must fill in the form on our web page and attach the required information. The selection will be done on the basis of the provided material.
When filling in the form, candidates must also send a zip file by WeTransfer including their CV, a portrait picture and several full body pictures, as well as the video containing the required actions.
Extra-community candidates need to have a valid work permit and residence.
Candidates need to have full availability and to be over 18 years old.
The deadline to send the application and the material is 29 April 2025.
The list of the registered people will be published on 30 April 2025.
The list of the selected people will be published on 2 May 2025. (The definite terms and dates will be communicated to the selected candidates by e-mail).
The rehearsal dates are: 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30 May, and 1 June 2025.
The performance dates are: 4 (7:30 pm), 7 (7:00 pm), 11 (7:30 pm), 14 (7:00 pm) and 18 (7:30 pm) June 2025.
