EXTRAS “DIALOGUES DES CARMÉLITES”- PEOPLE
We need extras to make up the People for the production of Francis Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, which Palau de les Arts will prepare during December 2024 and February 2025.
Extras are meant to recreate the atmosphere or the scene to contribute to make it more real.
We need / Roles:
- People: 15 to 20 women and 30 to 40 men, between 20 and 75 years old. It is required to have a feeling for music and look smart. Amateur experience will be appreciated.
Candidates must fill in the form on our web page and attach the required information.
Information required:
When completing the form, candidates must also send a zip file by WeTransfer including their CV, a portrait picture and a full body picture.
Features:
All people: Height and build: indifferent.
Candidates of different age, height and body type are required.
Extra-community candidates need to have a valid work permit and residence. Hiring of personnel will be on the basis of an employment contract on an artists’ basis.
Candidates need to have full availability and to be over 18 years old.
The deadline to send the application and the material is November 28th 2024.
The list of the registered people will be published on November 29th 2024.
On December 3rd 2024 the list of the selected people will be published.
The rehearsal dates are:
- December 2024: 10, 12, 13, 17, 20 (11:00 am-7:00 pm)
- January 2025:
- 7, 8, 9, 10 (3:00 pm-8:00 pm)
- 14, 15, 16 (3:00 pm-7:00 pm)
- 18 (dress rehearsal, at 6:00 pm, call for make-up, from 3:30 pm)
- 20 (preview, at 7:30, call for make-up, from 5:00 pm)
The performance dates are: 23 (7:30 pm), 25 (7:00 pm), 28 (7:30 pm), 31 (7:30 pm) January and 2 (6:00 pm) February 2025.
*The calls for make-up on performance days will be, maximum, from two and a half hours before the performance.
