Born in Athens, Georgia, Madeleine Peyroux grew up listening to the sounds of New Orleans and sought a life as a teenager in the Latin Quarter of Paris, where she was trained in music. After almost three decades of career, her latest album, Let’s Walk, released this year, has been praised likewise by critics and audiences, thus reaffirming her as one of the most expressive and seductive voices of present jazz.
